For the creation of the new garden, in order to make an informed choice in line with a sustainable approach, a little research was carried out into the native plants of the area.
This led to the discovery of the existence in past centuries of lowland forests, now almost completely extinct.
Following a text published in 1998 by the FVG regional administration entitled "Forest vegetation and forestry in the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region", the result of an interdisciplinary study between university professors of forestry and botany, phytosociology and forestry technicians employed by the regional administration and freelance professionals, we have fine-tuned the choice of plants: White Hornbeam, English Oak, Field Elm, Ash, and Field Maple.
New Life, in the company's small garden, wants to contribute, albeit in a symbolic way, to the rebirth of an ancient small lowland forest.
